Union College Unveils ‘Promise Plus’ Plan for Area Students

Union College yesterday announced a new financial aid plan for southeast Kentucky students.

The ‘Promise Plus’ affects students in 19 eastern Kentucky counties. Perks include the same tuition for all four years of college; a minimum $15,000 scholarship for students with a 2.0 or better GPA and an ACT score of 24 or higher; that’s in addition to scholarships for those who are in high school choir, band, or drama.

Select students will also be eligible for a loan repayment program if they struggle to find jobs immediately after graduation.
