Upcoming Road Closure In Breathitt County

If you use KY 315 in Breathitt County you will need to find an alternate route on Saturday, Jan. 19. The road will be closed at milepoint 7.5 to allow for replacement of a damaged drainage pipe. The project location is approximately four miles south of KY 30, and 7.5 miles north of KY 28, in the Sebastians Branch area. Work will begin around 8 a.m. and should be completed by 4:30 p.m. During this time, the road will be closed to all through traffic. No marked detour will be posted, but drivers can use KY 1933, KY 1110, and either KY 3237 or KY 15 as an alternate route. In the case of bad weather the project will be rescheduled.
