Virtual Learning For Pike County

Students in Pike County will return to virtual learning this week. The decision was posted on the school district’s Facebook page. School officials say the move comes after the county went red on the state’s COVID-19 incidence rate map.Superintendent Reed Adkins says the decision was not taken lightly but the district believes it was the best move for students Adkins says the students will receive the same care and instruction from teachers who have become experts at virtual learning since the pandemic began.
