Water Rescues Expected in Leslie County Due to Flooding
Water rescues are planned in the Confluence community of Leslie County after rising floodwaters from Buckhorn Lake spilled over into many people’s yards and land.
Emergency officials in Leslie County have several boats ready to help people who are stranded.
The Army Corps of Engineers has to release water from Buckhorn Lake to make sure people living along the Kentucky River do not get flooded.
