Winter Weather Advisory in Effect; 1-3″ of Snow Expected
Winter weather advisories are in effect for all of our listening area as snow is expected to continue throughout the morning and into the afternoon hours.
According to the NWS, the heaviest snowfall is likely to be north and west of a line from Somerset through Jackson and to Paintsville.
Transportation officials are urging anyone hitting the road this morning to slow down and keep a greater than normal distance between cars.
